BABILU (𒆍𒀭𒊏𒆠) pairs red Babylonian numerals with blue mythical figures in a ritual scene. The contrast is immediate; the detail rewards a second look. This handmade wall clock gives ancient imagery a vivid place in a contemporary room.
Babylonian numbers were built from wedge-shaped signs for units and tens within a system based on sixty. Around this dial, those compact marks become part of the artwork, echoing the visual language of clay tablets and inscriptions.
Handcrafted in the UK and hand-printed to order, BABILU suits a wall where you want art to hold its own. Choose the size and frame that give the blue figures room to be seen.
