IDRISI (الإدريسي), designed by AR, is an Arabic numeral wall clock that asks you to look again. Eastern and Western Arabic number forms meet an upside-down arrangement and map-inspired artwork in a restrained black-and-white palette.
The design takes its cue from al-Idrisi’s cartography. His celebrated world map places south at the top, reversing the orientation many of us expect today. That shift in perspective is the idea behind IDRISI: even the familiar act of checking the time can begin with a different viewpoint.
Give it a place in a study, beside travel books, or in the home of someone fascinated by maps. Choose IDRISI for its deliberate change of perspective and the conversation it can open.
