LHASA (ལྷ་ས་) reworks Tibetan coin imagery in red against a pale blue ground. A Snow Lion faces left beneath two suns, with a mountain setting drawn in the design as Mount Kailash. Red Tibetan numerals carry the color around the dial.
The inspiration comes from Tibetan coin designs that bring a Snow Lion, mountains, and two suns into a small circular space. Enlarged into a wall clock, those details become easier to linger over, from the curling lines of the lion to the mountain behind it.
